Snake

The verse Snake is written by David Herbert Lawrence (11 September 1885 - 2 March 1930). Lawrence was a British writer who spent almost of his adult live across many different countries. In this particular poem serpent in the grass, Lawrence represents a variety of emotions that he experiences on the instance of his coming across a serpent in the grass one day as he goes to assimilate about water. What is interesting and moving about the poem is the honesty with which he explains the various tone of voices he undergo upon accidentally seeing a glide that had come with the resembling intention as him to drink water.
